This program will be led by workforce and leadership expert Joe Mull, M.Ed, CSP. Joe is regarded as one of the premier leadership and employee engagement speakers in the country. He is the award-winning author of three books including Employalty and No More Team Drama and hosts the globally popular Boss Better Now podcast. Joe's work as a leadership and engagement expert has appeared in multiple media outlets including Forbes, Fortune, Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and the International Business Times.
This isn’t nuts and bolts leadership training. It’s an immersive leadership development experience that uses discussion, coaching, and thought-provoking exercises to teach you how to activate people, nurture a winning culture, and lead with confidence in a wild work landscape.
The event is limited to just 14 students. Attendees must have a minimum of 4 years of experience leading people in the workplace to enroll. Only one participant per company/employer is permitted.

A: Day 1 runs from 9am to 8pm. Day 2 runs from 9am to 5pm

A: Each day is filled with a mix of discussion, coaching, and activities that take place in several spaces across our venue. A handful of breaks are given each day. Day 1 concludes with a private dinner at a five-star restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

A: Attendees should book airfare into Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Rideshare (Uber or Lyft) and taxi services are available to transport you approximately 20 miles to and from the airport. During the BHS experience, you will not need access to a vehicle. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

A: Each attendee receives up to three nights of lodging in a single occupancy room at the Hampton Inn and Suites (1247 Smallman Street) directly across the street from the meeting venue.
